The College of Nursing Organizes a Course Entitled "Medical and Health Education Ethics of Scientific Research as a Model"

The College of Nursing at our university, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a scientific course entitled "Medical and Health Education: Ethics of Scientific Research as a Model." The event was attended by the Deanship of the College, its faculty, and staff, falling within the framework of the university's efforts aimed at consolidating a culture of scientific research and commitment to ethical standards across the medical and health fields.

The two-day course was presented by Prof. Dr. Abeer Jiyad Youssef Al-Fatlawi, a faculty member at the College of Applied Medical Sciences at the University of Karbala, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Allawi Al-Ghanimi, a faculty member at the College of Nursing at The University of Alameed. Together, they reviewed the most prominent ethical principles governing scientific research and highlighted the importance of adhering to academic and professional standards when preparing papers, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of scientific outputs and deeply embedding research integrity.

The course featured discussions on several key pillars related to the ethics of scientific research in medical and health education, along with mechanisms for navigating the ethical challenges that researchers might face. Additionally, it emphasized the vital importance of compliance with scientific and legal regulations in alignment with quality and academic accreditation requirements.

This course is part of a continuous series of scientific and training activities organized by the university. It aims to develop the capabilities of both the teaching and administrative staff while fostering a highly supportive academic environment for rigorous scientific research.
